Counting Crocodiles There was an island called Sillabobble island where a money lived. There were only sour lemons to eat on this island, until one day she can see a banana tree. She knew she was never going to be able to get to that banana tree with out crossing through the Sillabobble sea where there were a lot of crocodiles... How will she get to the banana tree? This book is great for any classroom There are some challenging vocabulary in the book so you would want to make sure that your students are able to understand them if reading independently. This is a great book to read to your students and for you to count to 10 together. There are several activities you can include with this book to do with your students as well.

E.T.  The Extra-Terrestrial A character named Elliot went to go pay the pizza delivery man for a pizza when he heard something in a shed next to his house, he walks over thinking maybe it was a coyote. This "thing" rolled a ball to him then he knew it wasn't a coyote because coyote's don't roll balls to kids. Read more to see what is inside the shed and their adventure together.  This would be an age appropriate books for 2nd grade and up. Many children have seen the movie E.T, but this book has an extra twist to it. This would be great to have in your classroom library for students to explore different genres.
